The Direct Vision Standard aka DVS, has come about following a spike in the number of collisions and even fatalities within London involving other road users inclusive of motorists, cyclist and walking pedestrians.

Predominantly targeting HGVs (vehicle’s 12T or more), the DVS structure measures a driver’s direct view through the window of their HGV cab.
